Privacy policy
This notice explains how we process the personal data of visitors to www.villaulivicetraro.it and of anyone who sends us a booking request, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we process
- Browsing data: IP address, date and time, pages visited and technical browser data, logged by the server for the operation and security of the website.
- Data you give us through the booking form, by email, phone or WhatsApp: first and last name, email, phone, country, dates of stay, number of guests and your message.
- Data for your stay (online check-in): for each guest surname, first name, sex, date and place of birth and citizenship; for the main guest also type, number and place of issue of the identity document. If we ask for them, also photos of the documents. You can enter them before arrival with the online check-in link we send you, or hand them over on arrival. You can also tell us your arrival time and add notes.
- Messages: the emails we exchange about the booking, kept together with the request.

3. Why we process them and on what legal basis

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not pass it on to third parties for marketing.
4. Providing your data
Fields marked with an asterisk in the form are required for us to reply. Identity document details on arrival are required by law: without them we cannot host you.
5. How long we keep it
- Guest details from the online check-in and photos of documents: used only for the mandatory report to the police through the State Police Alloggiati Web portal, and deleted automatically a few days after departure (normally 7). We do not keep copies of documents.
- Requests that do not become bookings: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Booking and stay data: for as long as civil and tax obligations require (usually 10 years).
- Browsing data: for the time strictly needed for website security.
6. Who can access the data
Your data is processed by us and, on our behalf, by our technical service providers: Aruba S.p.A. (website hosting and email) and, only with your consent, Google (Google Analytics). Guest details are sent to the police through the State Police Alloggiati Web portal, as required by law. Check-in data and document photos are kept in a protected area of the website, accessible only to the owner. Notifications we receive on our phone go through Google and Apple services without containing any guest data. We also share data with the authorities when required by law. Google may process data outside the European Union with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
7. Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive it in a readable format (portability) and withdraw your consent, by writing to prenotazione@villaulivicetraro.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
